Anyways, he posted a great link to social media expert Cindy King’s article on 12 Tips to Engage People on Twitter.

I’ve got to say, this stuff transfers over to more than just Twitter…

If you’re into social media marketing (as you should be if you’re at all serious about surviving in the new economy) then many of these tactics will apply to your Facebook profiles and FanPages, creating viral videos and campaigns, and connecting and building relationships with your followers/clients/customers.

“Relationship” is at the heart of everything that *is* social media marketing.

The more you build relationship and develop trust, the more successful your marketing will be.

TWO TYPES OF PEOPLE…And how to GET JIGGY!

So if you’re in ANY kind of business that sells or markets a product/service/widget/etc….

(Which, by the way, is ANY business)

And you HAVEN’T heard of John Carlton….

1)  Those who HAVE read up/studied/learned from John Carlton

And... (You guessed it)

2)  Those who don’t realize they need to read up/study/learn from John Carlton…YET

I was in group number two, until last week that is.

It’s just that, when it comes to copywriting and marketing, he kicks so much tail that you’d be dumb as a stupid-stick with a frontal lobotomy to not want to take a look at ANYTHING the man offers.
